As regular readers of our Newsletters know, we here at Gamma have a family of moles that have been helping us to ensure that everybody in Market Research knows to “Make Molehills out of Mountains” of data by using the PAI-GAMMA services.

The family is headed up by Miranda Mole, our technology correspondent and once her offspring are big enough to leave our burrow, they are sent to help with data analysis all around the world. At the last count our moles were working in many countries including Japan, Russia, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and of course the UK. |
When Gamma met Miranda three years ago we had no idea that Moles working in Market Research were becoming a rare breed. In fact, Miranda’s burrow contained the last 300 moles in the world that were capable of data analysis. Miranda is unfortunately past breeding age and although she has been extremely happy to see her children go to new homes, numbers have been dwindling in the burrow. We here at Gamma were getting worried about the long term prospects for Market Research, knowing that we were facing a possible future of no Gamma moles to help analysts with their research.

Although the situation was looking bleak, we recently received some fantastic news. Miranda has become a huge fan of the many Family Tree documentary programmes that appear on British TV. This inspired her to look into her own family history and we were extremely grateful she did.

Miranda unearthed a sister, Mah-Jong, she knew nothing about that had emigrated to China many years ago. Miranda tracked down Mah-Jong and found out that she is head of a very large burrow of data analyst moles. On hearing about the plight of the lack of European moles capable of “ Making Molehills out of Mountains” of data, Miranda’s sister immediately found 600 moles willing to travel to the UK to come and live in Miranda’s burrow. In addition, Miranda’s sister has also sent 600 moles to our PAI colleagues, to help spread good Market Research practices in the USA. |
Everyone at Gamma is very excited about these new arrivals and are looking forward to welcoming them in August. Once they have adjusted to European life, we will start to find new homes for them. So please look out for opportunities to adopt one of our moles in the months to come.
